A fantastic two bedroom, one bathroom ground floor bungalow set within a secure gated complex, featuring a large communal pool and a separate children’s pool. The property also benefits from secure on site parking, offering both convenience and peace of mind.
Inside, the bungalow offers a bright and spacious living area with air conditioning for the warmer months and infrared heating panels for cooler winter evenings. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard, with a Smart TV and IPTV box providing Sky Sports, movies and more, along with an Xbox and a selection of games, making it ideal for families and couples alike.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped and opens out to a private rear utility area, which houses a washing machine, sun loungers and a clothes drying area. To the front of the property, a generous terrace provides seating for four and a built in stone barbecue, creating a lovely space for relaxed outdoor dining.
Both bedrooms are bright and comfortable, each offering two single beds along with plenty of storage, including wardrobes and drawers. All rooms are fitted with air conditioning and cosy infrared heating panels, while the main bedroom also benefits from a fitted safe for added peace of mind. A highchair and travel cot are available free of charge, making things that little bit easier for families.
The complex itself offers excellent facilities, including a 20 metre communal pool and a separate children’s pool, perfect for cooling off or enjoying lazy days in the sun.
Wi Fi is available for a small charge of €10 per stay, payable locally. Air conditioning and heating operate via a meter, with €20 of free credit provided each week. This is usually more than sufficient, however additional credit can be purchased if required.
The bungalow is located in the charming coastal town of Los Alcázares, where many streets lead directly down to around seven kilometres of sandy shoreline. The main plaza, with its shops, cafés, bars and restaurants, is just a five minute walk away, while the beach can be reached in approximately ten minutes on foot.
Los Alcázares has a relaxed and welcoming feel and, thanks to its mild climate, is a lovely destination throughout the year. The town hosts lively markets every Tuesday and Saturday, offering a wide variety of local produce, clothing and gifts, while festivals and events take place regularly across the seasons.
For days out, the historic city of Murcia is around a forty minute drive away and is well known for its attractive squares, narrow streets and excellent shopping. The historic port city of Cartagena is even closer, at approximately a fifteen minute drive, and offers a fascinating mix of history, architecture and culture. Both are well worth exploring during your stay. Golf enthusiasts will also appreciate having the nearest course just two kilometres from the property.

The development is secure with gated access and on-site parking, set in a peaceful area yet only 500m from the main Plaza with a great selection of bars, restaurants, cafés and shops — and just a 10-minute stroll to the beautiful Mar Menor beaches. Please note: A €60 cleaning fee is payable on arrival. Inside the Property The living area is comfortable and inviting, fitted with air-conditioning for the summer and modern infrared heating for the winter months, ensuring a cosy atmosphere all year round. For entertainment, there is a flat-screen smart TV, Xbox with games, fibre-optic internet and IPTV with the full Sky package (Sky Sports, Sky Movies), plus a full movie library, box sets and catch-up TV. Both bedrooms have two single beds, wardrobes and drawers, and both benefit from air-con and infrared heating. The main bedroom also includes a safe for added security. A highchair and travel cot are available at no extra charge. Outdoor Space At the front of the bungalow is a large private patio with a table and seating for six — perfect for outdoor dining or relaxing in the sun. The complex offers a 20m communal pool along with a separate children’s pool, making it an excellent choice for families. The location is peaceful yet extremely convenient — less than a 5-minute walk to shops, bars and restaurants, and just a 10-minute stroll to the Blue Flag beach of Los Alcázares. The Mar Menor
The Mar Menor is a unique salt water lagoon set alongside the Mediterranean Sea. Stretching along 73 kilometres of coastline, it offers numerous beaches with crystal clear, shallow waters, making it especially safe for children. With a maximum depth of around 7 metres, the lagoon is the largest salt water lake in Europe, covering an area of approximately 170 km².
Water temperatures remain comfortable year round, averaging around 12°C in the cooler months and rising to around 30°C in August.
The Mar Menor is recognised by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places on earth. Visitors are often drawn to the northern end of the lagoon, where natural black mud from the salinas is believed to be rich in nutrients. With cafés and bars lining the beachfront, it is an ideal place to relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy the laid back atmosphere.
Flights and Transfers
The Costa Cálida is easily accessible, with a wide range of low cost airlines flying into both Corvera and Alicante from across the UK and Europe. Corvera Airport is approximately a 30 minute drive, while Alicante Airport is around 45 minutes away.
A full airport transfer service can be arranged from either Corvera or Alicante. Please enquire for further details.

We have just returned from a mini break at Lou’s place. We have stayed here several times before and it always feels like coming home. The apartment is well maintained and furnished to a high standard. It has everything you could want or need during your stay. We love the fact that it’s very close to the beach and many restaurants of Los Alcazares. We will definitely be back again soon.

Just returned from two weeks at Lou’s bungalow what a lovely place it’s clean and tidy. There is everything you will need. Louise is easy to book with. it’s nice and quiet to sit out on the terrace.
