Albatros complex – Paul’s Place is a lovely modern fully furnished house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and benefits from overlooking a large communal pool and separate children’s pool. The complex is secure with gated access and located in a peaceful area, although only 500 metres from the main Plaza with a host of bars, restaurants and shops and is just a 10-minute stroll to the local beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor.
Paul’s Place
The property benefits from air conditioning/heating in the living room and the two upstairs bedrooms.
Ceiling fans are placed in the lounge and in all 3 bedrooms, a safe has been installed in the main bedroom and a high chair and travel cot are available at no extra cost.
Heat/air con is on a meter but is provided free of charge up to the value of 20€ per week. We feel that 20€ per week should be more than sufficient but more credit can be purchased if needed.
Facilities
The house is equipped to a high standard including flat screen smart TV & X box along with a selection of Xbox games & DVDs.
High speed fibre internet is installed and IPTV with full sky package including sky sports and Sky movies. IPTV also comes with a full movie package, box sets and catch up TV. If you require Wi-Fi for personal use, it is available for a small charge of 10€ per stay.

The Kitchen, which is separate, is fully equipped including dishwasher and washing machine and the utility room houses sun loungers and chairs for you to use.
There is outdoor space to the front of the property with stone BBQ, table and chairs for 6 and the private roof terrace is also equipped with a stone BBQ, seating area and sun loungers. The roof terrace is lit at night by festoon lights giving a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
Area Information
The whole area is very flat which is ideal for mobility equipment and children in prams. This is a real home from home and intended to make your stay with us relaxing and enjoyable.
Please note there is a 75€ fee for cleaning, payable on arrival.
We’ve just returned from a lovely 6 week stay in Paul’s house, and we really can’t recommend it enough, a real home from home. There was everything we needed for our stay, we cooked many full meals, and did all our washing, including our bedding which dried beautifully on the roof sun terrace. We just lounged around in the evenings that we didn’t go out, on a really comfortable sofa, watching tv with every UK channel we could possibly want. The beds, towels, pillows and bedding supplied were good quality and also very comfy, with extra pillows and bedding if needed.
There is a good new heating system, and it’s worth spending some time reading the info to understand how to use it. Also there is a helpful information file on everything you might need to know, a worthwhile read with a cuppa or glass of wine maybe!
The complex is beautifully maintained and landscaped, and if you need any help Louise, or their local property support Linda and Neil, are really quick to offer help or advice if you need it. We loved it so much we rebooked for next year before we left, and can’t wait.
Holiday was superb. The apartment is on a lovely gated complex a short walk from the 525 plaza where there are loads of good restaurants and a big supermarket. The beach is a few hundred yards. The pool is a minutes walk but you do not overlook it so apartment is lovely and quiet. We got taxi transfers from airport arranged by the owner and this was seamless. So nice not having to drive.
If you do drive there is parking inside the gates a very short walk from the property. Aircon throughout and everything you could wish for in the property. Ryanair cancelled our flight shortly before travel but Louise was fabulous about accommodating the changes we needed to make. There was a welcome pack on arrival and we were met by Linda who explained keys etc and we handed keys back to her on departure. Once we have our daughters college dates we will look at returning next year.
